How I Started:
Decided time to get back to it. Had some surgeries that set me back about 8 months.
Why I Love It:
Great stress reliever. Its the classic man v inanimate object/mind over matter. The true test of mental dominance.
How I Stay Motivated:
Track progress. And the continous stress always is a good motivator.
BB Accomplishments:
Gained 120 lbs on bench max (all 3).
Pushing 90lb dumbells.
18.5in arms.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Gacked the knee from squats. Down for about 8 months and still never really recovered. I had surgery then, and had another one about a year ago. From the feel of things, I probly need another one now too, but I'll wait until its about twice its normal size for a few months straight first.Gacked the knee from squats. What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Pictures! Track your progress. This way u can see what you've accomplished. You don't always see your results in person, because you see yourself everyday, the pics help and so do the friends.

Hell yeah. Your friends should help you stay motivated. Having people who understand, why and what you want just makes it that much easier. They can let you know what needs to be worked on, push you past what you "can" do. Wasn't for my friends and family support, I'd probly still be the blob munching ho-hos.Hell yeah. Well, droppin my Body Fat Percentage has been my goal. About 4 months ago I was at 28% (Tape Method), 3 months ago at 21% (3pt Calipar method), 1 month ago at 16% (4pt Caliper method) and today at 14% (Tape Method). So I would say I'm getting closer. Might have to drop my goal down to...
