My family in the past have lifted and been body building since they were young. I felt that somewhere inside of me, since i dont have much to pass on from my moms side but a few good words and some memories, that I could do something my mom and uncle did in there past. Now ... powerlifting and working out have became my main sport, and I love it.
Why I Love It:
It is a stress reliever and keeps me from doing things i shouldnt. Keeps me in a room with weights(my best friends) and out of trouble. When I get really mad or upset about something... I work out, because it takes some of the pressure off of me... and onto the weight itself. It helps my anger problems alot.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a problem with self motivation...
its hard for me to make time and effort into weights and being a one room with iron for a few hours a day. I enjoy lifting.. and that is what motivates me... doing something that I love... and if it is important to me... then I will keep my head in it... no matter who or what gets in my way.
BB Accomplishments:
My Freshman year... the only girl to bench 135. Pretty proud of that...
Squat 215 my sophmore year without the suite. Got first and my first meet of my sophomore year. Got 5th my 2nd meet of my sophmore year. Went to regionals my sophmore year and got 9th. (pretty upset about that.. but it was good competition. Got my highest totals so far at regionals, 285 at squat... and 300 on dead lift... didnt do so hot on bench.. but its ok.. :)

Get my body back in the shape that is was before I was in my car accident
Goal (Long):
want to gain back all my muscle. I was in a severe car accident in July 07 where i injured my right upper shoulder and arm. It has been hard recovering from that, Mentally, emotionally and physically. I have become very depressed over the last few months not being able to be athletically capable of doing the things I love. I am very very athletic, an all american athlete, who loves what she does, and just wants to have that back. So getting back in the weight room and getting my body back, is what I really want.
