Overall Goal: Fly the British Flag! I want to gain 20 pounds by the end of 2008. I've been the same weight for a long time, and want to make a change, look good, and maybe set a base to compete in future.

Well first I just wanted to get stronger, so I took up Olympic Weightlifting, and that served me pretty well! And then I got more into bodybuilding around December '06. Got really serious for a few months, then with exams and things trained less and less. Started University in September '07 with all the best intentions, obviously though got caught up in a lot of other things in the first term and hardly led a healthy lifestyle. However, having now rekindled the passion for the iron, i'll be focusing harder then ever from now on. And i'm really looking forward to it :)
Why I Love It:
Love the pump, love seeing results! I like the way I feel after a hard workout, knowing that i'm doing something worthwhile.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at modern culture, see all the overweight and obese people that don't want to do anything about it. That's never going to be me. I like to think that every last little rep is going to help me more. I don't know... thats just my philosophy that the more I squeeze out, the better results i'll get. By seeing the results motivates me to do more. Plus feedback... makes it all worthwhile.
BB Accomplishments:
[12/2/06] 6th in Britain U17 Weightlifting Nationals. However, that means there were 5 people there that were better than me on the day. I'm not so happy about that.
[23/3/07] 100kg Olympic Clean at age 17, at 66kg bodyweight :). Something made all the more special as reaching the century was 2 years in the making. Was my utimate target at the time, and finally reached it.

"The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens." - Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Goal (Long):
I've always been skinny, yet toned, with a metabolism thats faster than Schumacher... (which can really suck). And i've always loved sports, mainly bettering myself, and I think with this I can achieve my goals of building a decent body that I can be proud of. I want to stand out. A man is only part brain, part body, so this is just as important to me as anything. I want to build a body that I can work with all my life. I came on here so people can help me achieve this, and I can receive some good advice from all who know what they're talking about. At the moment I will be on a long term, indefinite bulk. Long term goal is to be about 200lb lean. At the moment, little short term goals include reaching 75kg on my current bulk, hitting a 200lb bench, which I'm sure I can do already, I just need to *do* it.

Been a long time since I last posted.
I'll keep it relatively short and sweet. January '08 saw myself finally attempt to kick start this bulk, that's kind of been happening/not happening over the last year. And well, it's going well. As my weight chart shows, I have at...
