How I Started:
I got started a year before I went into the military. I did a lot of running and cardio to prepare for the up coming events that I would be faced with while serving. Once in, I sustained a serious injury to my knee during a deployment in Iraq which hung me up doing rehab for almost 2 years. During that time span, I lost 40 Lbs. of muscle (especially in my legs). During the recovery phase I looked towards weight training to stay active, and maintain what muscle I could. After I made a complete recovery, I set out to put mass back on (I dropped from 175 down to 135 Lbs. during the course of 2 years in rehab). I look now to overcome my weight lose from the previous years, and possibly compete in the near future. This has been a goal of mine since my injury, and I would love nothing more to prove the doctors wrong once again.
Why I Love It:
It's kind of my "me" time. It gives me a chance to leave daily problems behind, and focus on the task at hand.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of what I have been through, and what I want to achieve.
Just wondering if anyone new anything on Volu Gro by Nutex. I have been thinking abut taking it, but I wanted some in put from others first. Some first hand knowledge. I'd rather take it as a pre-workout supp instead of a post (I'd like to take true mass by BSN directly...
Awesome! That's great! The faster you get it, the faster you lose it, so that's good that's it's at a steady rate. Once you add between 10-15 lbs, then you should tweek your food and supp timing to maximize how everything's getting utilized. I can help you with that at that point if you want.
