Background

When I Started: Feb 2007
HOW I STARTED:

I started lifting in High School to help with sports and then gave up. You know, the usual excuses of fatigue, no time, stress, etc. Recently started back up to change my life for the positive again.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love to work out for the pump, and the sense of accomplishment i feel after every workout session.

My main motivation is feeling that the more weight i lose, the better I feel about myself and the better I feel physically. It also doesn't hurt that I'm finally able to slap the pads back on and get on the ice!!!

OK, now i'm pumped!!!!!!!!

Ok, so by revamping the diet and hitting the gym consistently in the past couple of weeks, I dropped 11 lbs.!!!!!!!!! I know it's mostly water weight and bloat but it's enough to pump me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a fat POS again............ARRRGH

Ok, so my girlfriend moved in with me about a year ago....... and I've gained 45 frickin pounds in that year. I know i can;t really blame it on her, but she doesn't have the workout or diet ethics that i have, or had rather......... somehow this rubbed off on me, also not having to impress the opposite sex when you're in a relationship probably doesn;t help things either.... So, it's time to revamp the diet again and get ripped............But how do I tell her (without upsetting her, of course) that she needs to place a little more importance on working out herself... she has definitely gained...

Do people really think we're not going to notice you're on drugs?

So, there's 3 guys at my L.A. Fitness that always work out together. They started there a couple of months ago and i see them there on a regular basis. I have a special name for them..... " THE 'ROID TRIO " . In the last two months they have put on at least 20 pounds of muscle each. Two of them are covered in acne, and one even has a distended abdomen starting to show, and they walk around like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. Their form is absolutely terrible. They pile on the weight doing squats and leg presses, and bring the weight down until it hits the safety stops...
