It's MY time...not work time, not family time, not doggie needs a walk time. MY TIME.
How I Stay Motivated:
I challenge myself in every workout;whether it be one more rep, attempting to run/jog/hobble (lol), or going heavier. My only competition is myself.

To conquer myself.

My long term goal? Well, I want to live. I want to live without the asthma I've had since I was a kid, without the possibility of developing diabetes, athritis, and all of the other illnesses that have afflicted the rest of the women in my family. So my long term, executable goal is to lose 70 lbs in a year, have the kick ass muscular legs I've always dreamed of (and arms to match of course), and to see my abs. Because honestly, I don't know what they look like. I expect to stumble along the way, but now it's just matter of brushing myself off and moving on.

Why is there always a guy at the gym with big muscles (and a little brain) who gives you his crappy, unsolicited advice? Why is there always someone who assumes you have no clue about your environment and proceeds to talk to you like a 5 year old?

I may be 208 lbs and obviously I don't...

I now have a trainer and am thinking about competing in October. The nutrition part is more strict and I am doing cardio after my workouts. Bodyfat was at 23% last month. I'm shooting for 20% by next Friday. I'm not gonna compete if I don't think I look the part.
