When I Started:
Nov, 2007
How I Started:
mainly as cross training for running; my back and shoulders would always tire before legs and lungs would so begin doing some basic lifts and got hooked from there!
Why I Love It:
i like to push my limits, to see how far i can go, how much i can endure. with running, the results come in the form of time or distance, but with lifting its nice to see some physical evidence of your effort and exertion. there is a great feeling, both physically and mentally, about accomplishing a workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
i know every time i go to lift, i'm going to come out a stronger man, i'll be healthier and more fit, faster and more tenacious than before.

thank you so much for your comment, I felt a little silly for my post. 22 inches!!! Where are u (it might be on your profile), that will put a little damper on your running. My next goal is to run a 10K, what does your training consist of and what kind of shoes do you wear? haha, sorry about all the ?'s
Thanks so much! I can't wait to get back to running! I got some mean shin splints so I'm letting them heal. I want to do my first half marathon though!
