Overall Goal: Who would ever have thought that you can gain weight while eating veggies as your carbs. Simply amazing. Still adjusting diet. I have stepped up cardio too. Have not added supplements yet. I still have 7wks left. Need to be better.
Fit Status:
cardio increased. Squatting last instead of first. reduce deadlifts to once every two weeks. Tired is an understatement. LOL

When I Started:
1990
How I Started:
WEll, i got started in 1990 after finishing the wrestling season during my first year of college. I had gained 15 lbs in the winter of '89, so i needed something just to lose the stomach. I was a chubby little kid and i wasn't tryign to revert back to that look. Once i got in the gym, i have been hooked every since.
Why I Love It:
Who wants to be average, when you can look great. i have the chance to reshape and sculpt my body into something great. Instead of complaining about how i look, i go to the gym and i do something about it.
How I Stay Motivated:
My main goal is to look great naked, so that keeps me pretty motivated. I could lie and say that i do it for my health or that i workout cause it is the right thing to do, but i wouldn't want to lie here. I think there are a few more people that think like me, but we keep it quiet as not to seem vain. I don't see myself as vain, i just see myself driven by vanity- such as anyone who is into the lastest fashions or hair styles :-)
BB Accomplishments:
1999 St. Croix Caribbean Classic
3rd in the open class (Light Hvy) and 2nd in the Amateur class (Light Hvy).
Second Accomplishment: Did a photo shoot for a calender. Ebony Soul calender.

taken a few months after a break up with my ex-girlfriend. I had plenty of time, so everything was put into the gym. I was about 194lbs. This is my benchmark for my new goal in 2007-2008.
I was a little small here. I weighed 182lbs. I just look big since it is a close up.

Goal (Long):
Overall Goal: To look GREAT naked. Anybody can look good in clothes, but to look great naked- is priceless.
I think this one is very simple. She inspires me in that portrays the type of woman i like- she is disciplined (you would have to be to reach the level of fitness and win the amount of contests that she has), she is kind and helpful (her videos teaching people how to diet and stay motivated to workout are great), she is god fearing most of all, she has been down, she overcame and she has prospered. What else do i need to say? Oh yeah, she is cute as hell. :-)
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Right now- 5-6 meals a day. First meal is right after my morning workout. No bread, pasta, rice, butter, mayo, or ketchup. My carbs mostly come from Broccoli, Green Beans, Spinach, Zucchini and Squash. I have a 1/2 cup of oatmeal for my first meal mixed in my protein shake.
fats- I currently have a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil during one of my early meals.
I just started this on 4/20/08: Since i workout in the morning, i have set up my meals in a way that the heavier meals are eaten early and the my last two meals are the lightest of the day.
Protein- Organic Chicken , Wild Salmon, Wild Cod, Turkey, Buffalo, Talapia, and Optimum Nutrition protein powder.Right now- 5-6 meals a day. First meal is right after my morning workout. Well, great intentions are just that- great intentions. Work has been so busy that i have not been able to update my workouts on here like i wanted to. So, i will have to think of a new plan. Probably will just update monthly. I thiink that works better. Oh well, back to work. take care.
Well thank you! The first place winning was better conditioned, she deserved it! I did however get my pro card and in 4 weeks I'll be making my Pro debut with FAME so that's great
Hey thanx for checking in ;) Yes, I am back to training and it's going pretty good. Still struggling a bit with the diet part, but it's getting better. How is everything with you?
Aww I appreciate your support.. and it's so true what you said about mind being ready but body having to catch up after a longer break. Couldn't have said that better myself. But yeah, again.. thank you for such a sweet comment, hope your shoulder doesn't hold you back in any way.. and check in anytime and let me know how you're doing ;)
Thanks for the comment ;) Yes, I'll have to change some things up (cardio and diet wise) as soon as I get back to training. I'm just hoping to get better a.s.a.p. so I can get back on track. But again, thank you for checking in.. and I hope you have a great upcoming year! ;)
