I served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps. During my time in service, I stayed active and preety much in shape, due to constant training / mandatory fitness requirements. I have been in and out of the gym and workouts for the past ten years.. I once got to a preety good size of muscle definition but have not been able to regain that since.
it seems like the entire year of 07 was spent working, eating unhealthy and drinking beers. when new years of 08 came around, I was at my sisters house in NJ. I went shopping for some jeans to wear for our family new years gathering. I bought my usual fitting size and when i got back to the house to try on the jeans, i could not button the pants... they did not fit.. That was the first time that I have experince that. I was also experiencing that most of my suits for work in my closet where fitting way to tight and feeling uncomfortable.
When i got back home from my sisters house in January, I new it was time for sacrifice and change. I paid the Gym fee, cleared out time for workout, cut back on beer, and the hardest of all - making a focused effort to cook lean & Healthy cutting out junk food.
From Jan - March, I lost 20 pounds resulting from a combination of Cardio and a Detox Diet. Now that I'm able to fit into all my clothes :-) I'm so motivated that the next goal is to get my self in the "BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE" allowing me to be the best example for my Helath & Nutrition Marketing Business @ www.juliobiz.com / www.nutrilite.com
God bless you all, check me out soon with a totaly commited body.

Why I Love It:
I love the fact that bodybuilding / working out forces you to treat your body the way you should. Especialy with the diet. People ignorant to the sport just think that men and weamen just go to the gym and get big. But I have much respect because going to the Gym is the easy part. The hard part is all the preparation steps leading to working out. This lifestyle is admirable.
YEAH BABY
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm a self motivator my nature. seeing small results is such a good motivator for you to keep pushing. I post goals on my white board of my room, have pictures on my screen saver so I can keep in the forefront of my mind exactly what I'm chasing. "plus i think about having about 10 weamen all over me" ....lol
BB Accomplishments:
As of now just getting back in the gym is the best accomplishment. From this point forward I'll keep you posted. I do know that I will be in the mix of some upcoming bodybuilding events for promotions and networking.
