I am experimenting with "staggered" sets... starting heavy..then dropping the weight ..to get more reps...any suggestions/recommendations?

Congrats on the 60 lb weight loss. How'd you do it? Are you tracking your weight lifting sessions on the tracker? I highly recommend it as the graphs are amazing! Keep pumping hard!
