How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I have more energy at work, I'm more organized and I don't get sick.
I have been working out pretty hard! I've met a lot of people whom have been of a great deal of help and now it is up to me. Last night I did 90 minutes of cardio hit I am going to drop that down to 1 hour, five days per week! I'm going to start focusing more on my chest and abs so be ready...
What's up Jr? I'm good. I hurt my back last week bro. Was squatting at max and screwed my lower back. The next day, I couldn't even get out of bed. It's better now. No pain...just still a little stiff. The lower back is nothing to fuc with.
Depends on your body and how it responds to the weights. I can do low or high reps since my body just responds to weights - generally 12-15 reps or 10-12 reps depending on the bodypart. You should try to continue to gain or at least maintain muscle while in your cutting phase. That means getting enough protein and getting that cardio in...all quality foods is key.
I had better results without the fat burners...just being consistent and trying to keep my times as close to the same as possible. That worked best for me. Im going to start with 2 days of cardio then move up to 3 and 4....training as heavy as possible for higher reps.
So am I...clean eating is key. Eat clean and do cardio - That is basically the essential to getting getting lean or even gaining lean mass. I learned it the hard way over the last few years. I looked BIGGER & BETTER at 185 with no gym than I do now at 220. From now on I will ignore people when they say no cardio and eat everything...keep your eating as clean as possible and reduce cardio when trying to gain mass, but don't stop.
Well, I still get nervous and a little embarrased until the call outs come...confidence builds with every moment of flexing...I still have to work on getting shredded and displaying more confidence since I'm fairly new to competition so I'm starting to diet now and will be comepeting in the spring.
What's good JR.? That's great to hear my dude. You stuck with the plan and committed yourself to change. That's right there is impressive bro. 9 pounds? Wow! That's what's up dude. I can tell by the progress pictures that you were burning fat and adding mass. Nice work! Keep up the work and intensity. The best has yet to happen for you.
My week has been str8. Work was a little busy today but no big deal. I don't consider myself being inseason/offseason anymore. I just want to be healthy & look good year round.

What up dude, check out mine in my workout journal, I got my complete diet in there too which helps a ton with those abs..I was cuttin up earlier in the journal though, I'm bulking up right now.
Sorry to hear about the clutch Jr. I know the feeling when you have with your car being down. I was down a few weeks ago myself. It will work itself out bro...don't stress out over the small things.
I just got back in the gym yesterday. Had to take a week off. ****ed up my car the week prior. It's good now and I'm back on the road big dawg. Man I'm sore as fuc right now. I killed chest and triceps yesterday. Also got a few sets of pullups in. Man, in a week you can lose so much. I lost my pump. Time to get it back even better. No more time off and no slacking.
