Overall Goal: Just got home from the desert and now I'm trying to maintain and continue my nutrition and exercise plan.
Fit Status:
lost some weight after the desert...as expected. Down to 189 from 207. I started back up mid JAN. I'm back up over 200 again already.

How I Started:
I was in tech school and my friend Baci got me started on it. I was always scrawny growing up and wanted to get out of that phase.
Why I Love It:
I love to challenge myself and I think muscle looks way better than skin and bones. I think the body is an amazing thing, the way it adapts to the stimulus of weight training.
How I Stay Motivated:
The motivation from others, especially my wife, Caitlin. The mirror and my training notebook help me as well!
BB Accomplishments:
I went from 177 pounds to 207 pounds in about 4 months while deployed to south-west Asia.

Goal (Long):
I want to get started in mixed martial arts or compete in bodybuilding...we'll see if i can get any bigger before I decide which. If my genetics aren't there for bodybuilding I'll turn my focus fully to MMA. Maybe fitness modeling?
Yeah I have but it's from not lifting and I just had sports hernia surgery two weeks ago, I also am about to go through shoulder surgery for my rotator cuff...all got screwed up in football last year, I won't be lifting for a while but I will come back stronger so it's okay.
