Overall Goal:  Well a year and a half after i got home from the desert, I'm here again! Hit 215 half-way through. Time to clean up.

Fit Status:  Ok, so i hit my bulk goal. Now i'm going to clean up for a few weeks and start my cut Dec 1rst.

How I Started:
I got started when i joined the military. Some friends of mine introduced me to the sport. I was always scrawny growing up and wanted to get out of that phase.
Why I Love It:
I love to challenge myself. I am fascinated by the human body and the way it adapts to the stimulus of weight training.
How I Stay Motivated:
The motivation from others, especially my wife, Caitlin. The mirror and my training notebook help me keep my goals and progress in check.
BB Accomplishments:
30 pound bulk on deployment in 2008 20 pound bulk on 2nd deployment in 2009 Went from 177 pounds to 215 in a year and a half. Hope to add to this list soon!

I want to get started in mixed martial arts or compete in bodybuilding...we'll see if i can get any bigger before I decide which. If my genetics aren't there for bodybuilding I'll turn my focus fully to MMA. Maybe fitness modeling?

Yeah I have but it's from not lifting and I just had sports hernia surgery two weeks ago, I also am about to go through shoulder surgery for my rotator cuff...all got screwed up in football last year, I won't be lifting for a while but I will come back stronger so it's okay.

Hey Jonathan! Thank you for the add! how did you build your chest . I have trouble with mine getting separated and getting upper pec definition. I have lost some bf% so far but even though most of me is getting more defined , i am struggled to drop the ab flab
