This was my first month. I took everybody's advice on taking it easy and giving it time.
This was my 6 month mark. Really looking forward to another 6 months :D
Being honest, when I bulk I mostly just get fatter. At 51 and natural, I'm not putting on much muscle size. So I'm getting myself leaned down to a good beach body, then plan to do a clean massing. Lots of protein, just enuf carbs to grow, see what happens.
Cool to hear you are gonna get back into it. Take your time and be patient, and u will be hard and strong again in no time. Happy with my summer cutting here-- I decided I will never get FAT during a bulk again!
thanks, man. you gotta eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism ramped up. keep the protein very high and carbs relatively low (especially late in the day). good luck with your goals.
It's cool bro. Never taken, never will. I guess I have been blessed with great genetics and a phenomenal metabolism. During my cutting phases I maybe did cardio 2-3 times a week, 30 minutes at a time.
Clean carbs are oatmeal, sweet potato, brown rice, beans, pasta. Go for a variety of protein sources if u can-- meat, fish, especially chicken and/or turkey. Eggs too. I know, it's an expensive sport/avocation!
