How I Started:
I have pretty athletic most of my life. Played soccer for 13 years, baseball, snowboarding (on national championship college team), and basketball. Want to get back into the shape i was in (and in better shape) than when I used to play soccer.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because i feel i have accomplished something each time i do and it is a good escape from the hectic and busy life i am currently in.
How I Stay Motivated:
Remember back to the time(s) when i was considered "the big kid" and preventing myself from going back to that point in my life. To take all those hurtful comments and jokes and to turn them into positive motivation to get in the best shape of my life.

I have always in a sense been ashamed of how i looked physically. Growing up i was the chubby kid with glasses, acne and was overweight. I want to build a body that i can be proud of and so i dont always feel like the "fat guy" in the group.

If you are looking for a program that really works at getting rid of bodyfat as well as getting you into great shape I suggest you check out Body for Life. It is a 12-week total body transformation program that gives you a great nutrition plan along with both weightlifting and cardio routines. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. Let us know if you would like more info.
