Weight Lifting started for me when I was in the 7th grade. Some of my closest friends started to brag about how much they could bench press so I went home gave it a try and my 1rm(max weight lifted one time)was a woping 80Ibs. By my freshman yr. of highschool my 1rm was 260Ibs. By my sr. my 1rm was 360Ib at a body weight of 172Ibs without the juice I am very proud to say. Unfortunately that is still the same. Right now I focus more on my entire body. Not just bench press so im curious how far I can take it.
Why I Love It:
I really don't know why I have just always liked the fact that I was in control of my own body and I could shape it in any way or form I would like.
How I Stay Motivated:
Its an addiction. I would be miserable without weight lifting, huge (stress reliever). I wake up thinking about it and I go to sleep thinking how I will do the next day.
BB Accomplishments:
Right now I just started Body Building. I have been more focused on the strength side of weight lifting. I have given body building a chance before but I really didnt enjoy it because I felt I was losing muscle mass. My Body type is an ectomorph(skinny) so its very hard for me to gain mass and the only way for me to gain muscle is to push heavier weight. Right now im weighing 180Ibs at 5,9 so im somewhat happy but honestly who is ever satisfied...?
