How I Started:
I'm in the military so I need to keep in shape. Wasn't until I got deployed to Bosnia that I started lifting weights, but after I got home I stopped. Started again when I got deployed to Iraq and this time I have kept working out.
Why I Love It:
Makes me happy and helps me look good. Since I got back from Iraq people keep telling me how big I have gotten and I like hearing that. Truthfully who doesn't like being told that they look good?
How I Stay Motivated:
If I don't maintain a steady routine I get out of shape quickly. I finally got to a point where I am somewhat happy with my body and I don't want to revert back to how I was. I'm always being told I look like Clark Kent/Superman with my glasses. Being compared to superman is pretty motivating.
BB Accomplishments:
No accomplishments to speak of, but personal accomplishment was coming back from Iraq I came back to my old unit in the Valley and some of my old Sergeants were saying how big I got when I used to be so flacito (skinny).

While I tend to say I am fat, I know I am not. I want to have a V-taper body, I am not looking for huge muscle gains. I have a hard time losing my spare tire, that is my overall goal to lose that.

Do research on weight training, don't just start lifting. Educate oneself on the variety of exercises that are out there and proper technique.
