I've been doing cardio off and on for about 7 years. But, now I'm really going to focus on weight training.
I started in Jan '07 and got down to 165 lbs. but was not really toned and now I've gained back some of the weight. I'm ready to begin AGAIN!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel so much better...tighter.
How I Stay Motivated:
One day at a time!
BB Accomplishments:
Weighed 200 lbs Jan '07, lost some of the weight, gained it back, lost some more but now I'm 183 lbs.

Good luck with your goals, 55 lbs is a lot in 6 months, but I had a guy in my unit lose 60 lbs in 3 months. Ran at least 5 mile a day and ate every third day. Lots of water and vitamins.
