about 3 years ago i did not like what i saw in the mirror. i can feel sorry for myself or do something about it. i chose to make a change. i stopped drinking sodas cold turkey with no problem. i stopped eating at mcdonalds and convienence stores. i do in home appliance repair and no longer eat "out" for lunch, i am self contained. i have bottled water, protien shakes or bars to eat, some fruit and canned chicken in a cooler. i eat every 1-1/2 to 2 hours but small meals. i workout with my own equipment in my own home and do it alone. no spotters, no partners. there is no health club nearby so little choice. one must be self-motivated for this or your wasting your time and money. i am 47 years old, 5'6" 185 pounds. my bench max is 250 pounds, 925 leg press. not everybody can be the best but everbody can do their best.

How I Stay Motivated:
the confindence it gives me. when i wear tank tops and people ask me questions like how much do you bench or how long did it take to get where you are.
BB Accomplishments:
i don't feel like an old man any more. i am way tooo old to compete and nowhere close to being at competition level, but i am in better shape than most men my age.

Goal (Long):
i would like to some day compete. it would not matter how i would place, just for the experience. i realize i am not at a competition level but would love to do it at least once.

wens did normal leg work finishing 4th set on leg sled of 12 reps at 825 poonds. sat, right leg locking up, sun worse. now very hard to bend or walk on. must have strained on wen workout. also right wrist very tender probably from 10 reps at 222 on bench, will miss many workouts. this totaly sucks.
Im right there with you on the waist line ... I know the secret is to micro-manage food, but I still havent been able to do it. Good luck, you look fantastic
