With a set of sand filled weights as a kid.

How I Stay Motivated:
On overseas assignments I need to be able to keep up Paratroopers, Marines, Rangers, NSW, etc. (See my website for an example.) It is not a hobby, this is life or death for me.

That's a kevlar helmet in my hand.  204 pounds this morning. Fat thickness at illiac ab 5mm. Waist 35 inches. Strength is still good.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I don't have an established number of reps. I take each set to failure.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Long enough to write down how many reps I did in my log book and take about 20 breaths. Doing that keeps the tracking in log book consistent and it ads a very mild cardio element to the workout.

On the morning of June 12th I weighed 206 pounds and looked like this.

Then I went on trip to San Diego for work and a lot of fun and came back on June 14 super bloated.

Today I am back down to 207.

That is up 12 pounds in a few days and down 11 pounds in 6 days.

hehe thanks man. i love working shoulders. and i know what you mean about keeping sane with the workouts. sometimes looking forward to a workout gets me through the day and the actual workout makes it even better.

I'll take your word (and example) on that one... biggest change I see is I need to be a little bit smarter about injuries these days... joints don't love some of those past workouts haha. Thanks for the add!
