At the momment im using pre, post exhaustion and supersets for much of my trainining and i've seen really good gains in size and strength. Foe example my chest workout is:

i train chest once a week. flat bench barbells, incline dumbbells, decline bench smith machine, cable crossovers is a favorite combo of moves. heavy sets in the 5-6 rep range. 3-4 sets per move. best wishes.
