When I Started:
May, 2008
How I Started:
Originally I fell into it while getting in shape. I figured that it was necessary to do it, and surprisingly it became a hobby of mine.
Why I Love It:
It's addictive. Being able to transform your physique into virtually anything you want, is fun. Plus, in order to do it properly and safely, one must use their head as much as their muscles.
How I Stay Motivated:
Music, goals, professional bodybuilder's and fitness freaks, books, etc.
BB Accomplishments:
250 lbs. of fat to 170 lbs. of lean muscle in 7 months, naturally and without sacrificing carbs or using a ton of chemical supplementation, just dedication, education, and some work.
I want to shed 120 lbs. quickly, 100% safely, and naturally, while not limiting carbs or taking a million supplements.
Goal (Long):
Having asthma limits my progress at times, but I finally feel that it is time to push myself through the walls again. Last time I felt this good, I went from 250 lbs. to 170 lbs. in 7 months all while eating regular foods which included many carbs, including white bread, pasta, and so on.
I hope this page will inspire others to get fit without limiting themselves to any "diet." It scares me to hear about stories of people trying to lose weight while making themselves and their bodies sick by cutting carbs and fats to virtually nothing. That may be good for bodybuilders looking to step on stage, but what works for them is not practical for the masses.
It is about eating proper portions and complementing that with proper exercise and resistance training. There are no secrets here and I am going to prove it to everyone, you'll all see.
If I can help anyone I will without hesitation.
They go fast, so do the pounds. Lost another 5 lbs. this week. My average was 4-5 lbs. a week when I trained the last time, so I expect this time to be no different. All while still not eliminating carbs at all and while still eating white breads. How? Portion control. It's easy to...
I lost over 50 Lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 following BFL also in the same 12 weeks. I have found that you get the best results by following a well-designed program such as Body for Life. If you challenge yourself you will be amazed at the changes and how fast they happen.

That great man 10 lbs in two weeks congrats. I've been doing good but my schedule at work is hectic and I started helping my Nephew workout so my progress has slowed but I'm still plugging along....
