How I Started:
I have always been active for sports but never focused on how i was built. My buddy Tim told me in the gym one day that if i put just a little bit more effort into my workouts and ate better i could be a bodybuilder (i weighed 150lbs)....I have always respected the sport but never thought that i had what it took to do it.......yada yada yada i've been growing ever since and am hoping to compete in 2010 close to 200lbs
Why I Love It:
I love the discipline that is required in the dieting and training...and i love watching the bar bend!!!

I can see you must be training your but off! :)) I played some squash today, didn't feel like doing weights and must say, I feel really stiff!! How are you otherwise?

Thanks for being a friend here Matthew. Training is going great losing 1% Bf every 2 weeks still at 199# with 7 1/2 weeks to first comp. Haney was awesome and told me I needed to compete. I gained a lot of fat at LU went to 240 I was there 2004-2006 grad 8/06. Join my group, "Prayer Warriors"

yea man check that competition diet out. it does work well. the only change that i did as it progressed was taking out a carb each week and replacing it with a protien. (i.e. oatmeal for chicken) I did that until i hit about 50 carbs then carbed up peak week. also if i did cardio in the evening i would thow in an extra meal. Just add one of the previous meals to the end of the day.
i'm in a cutting phase man. trying to hit 185 of lean muscle. added cardio to my daily workout. not fond of it but you gotta work it. you're looking seriously jacked man. you doing all that and a premed major? that's discipline.
