How I Started:
Well where to start?, I was born with a heart condition called "tetralogy of fallot" which was a pain in the ass for the first 14 years of my life, putting all kinds of restrictions on my fitness. In 2001 I had corrective surgery which has made life alot easier. For a few years I wasnt the smartest or healthiest person but a couple of years ago I was introduced to the fitness industry and it excited me but because of my past I put alot of limitations on myself because I had been SCARED into not exerting myself (Im supposed to have an intolerance to exercise) I know it wasnt intentional on the doctors behalfs but thats what I was, scared. FU!* IT! I thought and slowly I introduced myself to regular exercise and started cutting out crap food and surrounding myself by like minded people namely my fiance. Im now training 5-6 days a week from anywhere between 1 1/2 - 2 hours each session, cardio, weights you name it and now that I have tested the waters and realised my potential my goals are to become a Personal trainer and a Fitness model (hence that weight gain, being strong and healthy all comes hand in hand)... I want to be the exception and an insipration to other "zipper kids" like me!
Why I Love It:
I love sweating, feeling my body burn, watching the changes that happen to my body, when I add more weights...
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror, think about what my doctors use to say, my fiance is my biggest motivator and support.
