When I Started:
Mar, 2001
How I Started:
Friend invited to join him. I still remember my first work-out. That was something I've never felt, it just "clicked" from the first time I touched barbell, I knew it was what I want to take seriously, I just got hooked-up from the very first training session, when I wasn't even aware what I'm actually doing.
Why I Love It:
There are MANY positive things about BB'ing you all know, so there's no need to go into details.
Shortly - that's a strong love 4 the iron.
How I Stay Motivated:
Recent accomplishments and future BB goals motivate a lot.
And well... there's no need for motivation when we talk about compulsion/obsession ;)
BB Accomplishments:
I've transformed my body. Actually competition doesn't motivate me (I've attended once). I'm not into "Being judged", because I couldn't care less if I'm better or worse then guy next to me. All that matters is what I see in a mirror, I love the process of bodybuilding, the pshilosophy of it, the lifestyle, that's what keeps me going, not titles and official accomplishments. You shouldn't do anything that doesn't motivate you 100%, so I leave competing to these ppl motivated enough. Though never say never.

Thing that probably makes the most sense in life: http://www.imminst.org ; http://www.sens.org/, http://www.manhattanbeachproject.com/ . explore, spread the word, change the paradigma of your own and these around you. OR - at least some video education: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHNj_oSjgrc
Why I like this video: I have pretty similar physique (I mean - bone structure, height, natural BF...) and his accomplishments in bodybuilding motivates a lot.

I'm a fan of DC and Yates training principles. The less BS, the better. just plain "Progressive stimulation of the muscle fiber" in effective ways (ways that are effective for me personally..though it's still in the range of these two mentioned training "philosophies"..)..
im trying to beef it up. im at 207 now. im going to add more mass and then lean out not too much though in Feb/March. Its nice and warm here again. I hope it stays like this. My legs are growing thats for sure. Quads, hams and especially glutes!
Thanks man -- yeah, I'm preparing to start a bulk in October. I'm looking to gain to around 190. I'm 163 right now, so I've got a ways to go. Hoping to see some serious growth through the winter!
