WHY I LOVE IT:

It is the healthiest activity to become involved in, provided you do it the "right way." The right way is to do it drug free, train properly, and eat healthy.

My Motivation Program

Exercise is so therapuetic for me... I love how it makes me feel... What motivates me is probably being a living example of what I teach to my clients... But also, an inspiration to others... I just enjoy the feeling I get from the act of lifting weights and the challenge-point where I question if I can squeeze out another rep... I also like taking the intensity of a set further than most are willing to go... It motivates me to be the best I can be for me... And I will always be happy for doing that and being true to myself. I want to be a representation of pure science and its application building the most proportionate and symmetrical body I can possibly attain.

I competed in my 1st pro show this year and placed dead last at 6th place. I knew I didn't come in as hard, but I guess I kind of got a little overly confident and did not do what I needed to do to come in as hard. I did compete in my first triathlon and enjoyed that experience very much. As far as the future, my main focus is still to just live each day as good as I can and set new goals. Goal-setting is important for me as I just love accomplishing things, which makes goal-setting important for me. Turning Pro And Now...

After having earned my pro card, I am now just enjoying working out for myself and maintaining a good fitness level and general health... I also turned 30 this year.. What I have noticed is, the closer lifestyle is to contest prep mode, the better off one will be in so many facets... First, you will be healthier for a variety of reasons... Secondly, you will keep metabolism, etc. in a good state... I do not bulk anymore, never will again and just do not believe in it... What I believe in is simply eating healthy, keeping cardio and resistance training in year round, keeping...

Yesterday was a great arm workout... I planned on hitting biceps and triceps... I had a friend show up and we just worked out together.. He assisted with some exercises by stabilizing my arms to intensify the contraction intensity...  One example, I did tri-sets for biceps then triceps... For triceps, my 1st exercise was weighted bench dips (80 lb added) for 12 reps, then seated overhead dumbbell tricep extensions... On this one, I asked him to grab behind my arms right below my elbows and to pull back slightly during the lifting phase and relax up on the lowering part... What this does f...
