When I Started:
May, 2006
How I Started:
I have never been "Fit" in my life. But I wasn't considered fat untill about 2001. My weight would go up and down a little. In May of 2006, I booked a cruise for Sept and I wanted to look "good". I ordered Nutrisystem and the weight started to come off. I was around 222 Lbs at the time.
Why I Love It:
Once I started loosing the weight, I started to notice how easy it was to do things. I also started to like to way I looked and the complements I was getting...Admit it, we love the complements. But most of all it just feels great to be healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my before pictures.
BB Accomplishments:
I don't have any major bodybuilding accomplishments at the time, but my cardio kicks butt!!! I am able to hike any mountain in my area with ease... I am at the point where I use a weighted vest to make it more of a challange. Not bragging, just excited!!!
This guy transformed his body - and put his self out there for everyone to see. I lost 60 pounds and that was hard. I am surprised he isn't # 1 on most inspirational on this website.
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Like the Nike ad - "Just do it" - If I think about it too long, it will never happen... we don't think about brushing our teeth when we wake up - we just do it.

Since you've been working out, taking supplements and eating right, how often do you get sick (cold, flu, etc.)?
Very rarely

Do you have any type of chronic disease or condition?
So its 12 days till Christmas GREAT! I was looking on the calender and it is 210 days until I turn 40. I know its just another year and when I turn 80, I will think I was just a kid back then. However, at this point in my life it is a milestone and I can choose to go forward in life...
Thank you very much, and good luck to you as well carving out that six pack. Stick with it, these things take time, I think we're both on the right track though. Take care
Ben
