At first I wanted to test out all feds and see which I wanted to stick with, I ended up doing the natural circuit and went for pro cards with the natural federations which offered them. Now I am going for my ifbb, the tier to get there has been local although nationals can be anywhere in canada, they were here last year and it went so well they are back this year.

tons of shows in bc, and vancouver has them in waves, depending on which feds are in town and for how long.
but it depends on what show you want to do or what your goals are, I had to travel a lot in the beginning, once I attained the goals at that time, I now have new goals which happen to have me competing at home luckily!!

I have a free 'Figure Basics' ebook at lindacusmano.com in the download section, have to register free first then you can see the section, it touches on it, there is also a full figure and fitness manual which covers a chapter on sponsor search with sponsor letter and such at figureteam.com, on the left bottom menu- ebooks link.
