How I Started:
I got into bodybuilding in 1975 when I saw Muscle Builder Magazine with Frank Zane on the cover. Since then I was bitten by the iron bug and started saving up my school allowances to buy weights and build equipments for my home gym. It was not until a year later that I decided to join a commercial gym (Stan Carbungco's Gym).
Why I Love It:
It's one of my passion. At my age now I believe that making a return to bodybuilding can enable me to become healthy and strong again.
How I Stay Motivated:
That's a problem 'coz it's always been on and off throughout my 30 years of bodybuilding due to family obligations. I get motivated by reading bodybuilding mags (prior to the advent of the internet)and by visiting bodybuilding sites on the web.

5th place Junior Mr. Philippines (Short Class) 1976; 5th place Mr. Chinese Muscleman of the Philippines (Overall) 1976; 3rd place Mr Metro Manila (Overall) 1977; 2nd place Mr Chinese Muscleman of the Philippines (Overall) 1979; 4th place The Gulf Bodybuilding Open for Expats (Overall), Abu Dhabi, UAE, 1983; 2nd place International Powerlifting Competition (Overall in the 82.5 kg Class)1984, Manila.

Goal (Long):
The Incredible Hulk has been my favorite comic character since childhood. I dreamed of big muscles... to become huge, freaky and strong. I want to do a return engagement to the bodybuilding/powerlifting arena. I miss competition and would like to see myself rubbing shoulders with my former colleagues/ competitors. I want to overcome the weakness of my right shoulder due to an injury while doing heavy bench presses years ago, I want that 300 lbs bench and 500 lbs deadlift so badly. I'm determined to reach that goal in about a year and a half years from now.
