How I Started:
I had hernia Surgery in February 2008 and tipped the scale at 217. I knew then that I needed to do something. Once I had healed I began to eat right and work out. I had lifted and been in pretty good shape before, but not in about 6 years (marriage, kid).
No I missed the fight, but sounds like the Shogun and Mach fight was crazy good. I think Rampage will fight Rashad and then be done. I have read alot about the UFC and I think that they treat fighters like crap. Couture, Liddell, Rampage, alot of them dont like the way Dana and the UFC take care of their fighters. Also I cant believe that Brock backed out of his fight with Carwin... what a puss!
Yeah, I did manage to run 3 miles before going to the fair. Hopefully that bumped my metabolism up to handle the extra food. My food list was a bit longer than yours though! :-)
Hope you are well. When I lost most of my weight, I was doing HIIT cardio for 20 minutes 3 times a week. I am training for my first competitive run, so I am doing it 4 times a week for 30 minutes now. As for diet, I was eating 6 times a day, about 300 calories per meal, about 30-40 grams of protein and carbs each meal, and as little fat as possible (aside from almonds and fat from fish). Hope this helps.
Vacations can be tough! Hope you had a good time at Disney. I frequently work out at home, but I also have a membership at RTP Fitness, which is very convenient for squeezing in a lunchtime workout on some days.
THX kyle! Means a lot! Tiffany aka 31233, on your inspired members list is a good friend of mine. She has made some amazing changes! I hardly recognized her when she did her first show! Best to ya! ed aka Ol Supe
