My boyfriend got me into it....I noticed more and more changes and then I was hooked.
Why I Love It:
Multiple reasons: stress reliever*I love feeling, being, and looking healthy*I crave positive reinforcement*I love the environment...everyone's there to accomplish their fitness/health goals
How I Stay Motivated:
The way I look in my clothes*positive reinforcement*Seeing some people from highschool who, apparently, "let themselves go"*Knowing how I was before I started working out*Family medical history*Being intimate is a lot better when you feel good about yourself!
BB Accomplishments:
Losing a little over 30 lbs and gaining a whole lot of muscle for my 5-foot frame. Oh and did I say, THIRTY??

Get healthy...be healthy. Just take care of yourself- it is probably the best gift you can give to your friends, family and most importantly, yourself.
Older pic...haven't gotten around to taking new ones yet.
I'm glad I kept my shoulder definition despite the slight weight gain! :) That makes me happy. I bet you can't guess which bodypart I LOVE to train- Ha!
One day, I would like to start competing. That is, once I get my abs in check and have enough money to fund everything that goes along with it. I've also thought about going into commercial fitness modeling in the far future.
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Pros: Variety, it has everything I need
Cons: Annoying people

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
If you will be working out at a gym, PLEASE:
-Don't talk on your cell phone as it annoys everyone around you. The gym is for working out, not socializing.
-Don't perform exercises RIGHT in front of the weight rack since it blocks people from getting their weights.
-Don't walk in front of someone who is watching their form in the mirror during an exercise.
-If you see someone's belongings next to a machine (or if it's ON the machine), don't get on it. If you will be working out at a gym, PLEASE:

Ah yes, Fall weather may be pretty at times, but man did the gloomy weather kill my motivation! Well, I think it’s a combination of that and me slightly over training. I was dieting really strict along with lifting and doing cardio 5-6 days a week. After a while, my strict diet became taxing...
I'm actually cooking baked chicken stuffed with goat cheese and coated with wheat germ and italian seasoning...along with brown rice and steamed broccoli. I hope that gets in some good protein and good calories. Oatmeal in the am! I HAVE to hit the weights harder tho! Big o' softy! Let me know how you're progressing!
Just checking in on things. It's been so busy here. I'm losing fat...but some of my muscle has gone with it. I just haven't made it to the gym lately. Work has been killing me!!! You look great! Anything new?
