My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

My Workout Program

I am employed! Lol I am still looking for an affordable gym. But in the mean time, I have been focusing on eating healthier. I still do my basic workouts at the house. My regimen has become somewhat sloppy lately. :) I walk and jog everyday, usually for an hour and a half. And in my spare time, I concentrate on certain portions of my body to exercise. Like Monday, abs, glutes, etc...
When I was in Taekwondo, I had cardio mostly to speed up my heart rate. Taekwondo is mostly concentrated on kicks, so my legs were never a problem. I plan on getting back serious in Martial Arts so I can become fit again. Right now, I'm actually in seidokaikan, which is a style of Karate. That means I'll have that extra push that I need. I think being active in any sport will do my body good. Plus, I'll be able to participate in full combat sparring and tournaments.

ImperialBlue I have made the mistake of not allowing time to workout between work and school. I had a medical scare, so no excuses this time!!!

osoblesd Your new pull up bar is a wonderful tool for home workouts. My son got one for Christmas. He told me he could do chin ups, push ups, dips and sit ups. Plus there's a coupon in the box for him to send off and order the arm straps for the hanging leg lifts. It's like a mini-gym for the doorway. I tested it out and did a chin-up or two - "y no mas" :-) It worked very well. I hope your works out for you! Dec 26, 2009 6:47pm
