Overall Goal: My goal within the next eleven months is to pack on 20-25 pounds of muscle. Also, I'm trying to get to 315 on the bench. I'm at 290 right now, so hopefully soon...
Fit Status:
Just got back into it after a two week break... Ready to put on some weight (Hopefully).
Took some lifting classes in high school, and had a little weight set at home. Always loved working out, and now that I've got the time and the money to dedicate I am hoping to get serious about bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love the way lifting makes me feel... Both mentally and physically. There is no greater feeling than looking in the mirror and seeing your body grow and know that all your hard work has paid off. The gym is my sanctuary, a place where I can escape from the stresses of day to day life and do what I truly love...
How I Stay Motivated:
Like I said before, seeing your progress each day is a huge motivator for me. Getting compliments on my body from random people is great... It's nice to be noticed. I had someone come up to me in the gym a few days ago and ask me for advice. That is a pretty good feeling, knowing you look good enough that people aspire to look the same...
BB Accomplishments:
Um... Nothing too major right now. I am currently at my heaviest weight that I've ever been, so that's good. Also am stronger and lifting more than ever before, so I'm pretty proud of that too. But in my next eleven months in Iraq I hope to bump both my weight and strength up substantially.

Goal (Long):
Not sure if this is a feasible goal, but it is what I am shooting for. Been stuffing myself with good food, taking all the supplements I can get my hands on, hitting the gym hard, and cutting out the cardio from my routine. I am willing to sacrifice and put on some fat to gain the muscle. I know you cannot gain pure muscle without taking on some other weight as well...
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 25 lb

Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
MUCH more room, equipment, motivation, etc etc... There are people there to give you advice and provide some assistance when handling heavy weights. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Um... the worst was a while ago. I was doing Good Mornings, and I guess I had too much weight. My back hurt like crazy after my set, so I went home relaxed, hoping it would be better in the morning. It wasn't... I couldn't do anything in the gym for about a week... And even after that I had to take it slow. I don't do those anymore lol...Um... the worst was a while ago. What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
That's a hard question... I would be inclined to say not stretching enough, but I think improper form/trying to lift to heavy to impress people probably seriously gets more people hurt
So I've been idly sitting by and waiting for my 100th comment to come through for awhile now... But now I have decided to take matters into my own hands. It would be greatly appreciated if someone would kindly assist my comment counter into the triple digits... That is all.
you shouldn't be kicking yourself for what's happening... Trust me, because it going to affect you when it's time for you to start mingling and getting back into the dating game.
It's not your fault, and thanks for serving our country.
p.s. thread got deleted. Dont know why.
Im sorry about that! that was my fault. I tend to set aside a day to get back to comments. Why terible?! I am doing ok. Had a killer biceps workout this morning
