When I Started:
How I Started:
My boyfriend got me started. Thanks Baby!!!
Why I Love It:
I like knowing that if I dont like the way my body looks, I can change it. It builds confidence.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep an image in my mind of what Ill look like in the end. BB.com is helpful... oh... and when I get lazy my BF will drag me kicking and screaming to the gym! (Or sometimes Ill drag him lol)
BB Accomplishments:
Quite smoking after 12 years!!! Now if only my endurance would return... phew!
Maybe I’m not the best and never was...
But I can be... if I want it bad enough.”
Up until about 20 I was always thin. I never concerned myself with my weight. Over the last 4 years however I have gained about 10 lbs body fat. I’ve been upset about this but never really had the motivation to do anything about it, not to mention I was drinking heavily and smoking A LOT. I started weight training off and on about 2 years ago, but I never dieted right and always wondered why I never saw results.
Well I’ve had enough! I’m ready. Over the last couple months I’ve quit smoking (after smoking for 12 years, yikes!) I’ve completely revamped my diet, and have developed a more disciplined approach to changing my body. I’ve always had a great muscle base... now I want to show it! I want to drop that stubborn body fat % . I wanna show those abs off when I’m on the beach. Then, once I get the fat off, Ill go back to building more lean muscle.
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
This has definatley helped our relationship! some couples go out to eat all the time. Some go to the movies. We go lift iron! It works out really well.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Pretty simple. I try to keep my calories between 1200 and 1400. I eat lots of protien while trying to stay away from fats and carbs. Oh... and the gallon of water a day!
Hello hello my fitness friends! Its been a while but Im back. Gotta get my mind back in the game. Watching the clock right now waiting to get off work so I can go work legs.... tick, tick, tick, COME ON!!!!! lol
I hope youve all been well. Im gonna keep this short but Ill be sure to hit you all...
Thanks for the comment and support. Let's both get ready to show others the abs they wish they had! I'll be looking forward to posting more pics as time goes on and viewing your progress as well. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the inspiration add. Glad you enjoy my madness!!! Yes babe - that is a vein you see!!! Abs are popping like rice crispies!!! Keep it up. PS: Where have you been?
Carob is a high protein, almost sugarless replacement for chocholate. It was actually used in cooking prior to chocholate. Tastes very similar and fits in the diet. You should be able to find it at almost any grocery store and the chips look just like chocholate chips. I've got to make a batch tonight. Be careful. They taste good enough to eat all day long.
You are looking extremely lean in the latest profile picture. Great job, girl. I expect you'll be looking at contest prep sometime in the not too distant future????
Wow. Thanks so much. I'm honored a lot of the ladies on the Figure Athlete site have it on their stairmills. I need a little card so when I get the all clear to train again I can remember why I do it.
Thank you so much for adding me to your inspirations. I needed to be reminded of that poem. When I wrote it I was training through adversity and having dealt with yet another cancer scare this week, I needed to be reminded that nothing gets in the way of a dreaam when you are willing to pay the sacrifice to make it a reality. YOu look amazing and the abs-pop-pop!
