How I Started:
Got into fitness during my time in the military; well had no choice really! Prior to joining H.M. Forces I was a regular Teenage Mutant Ninja Couch Potato!!
Anyhoo since then I've trained on and off with different levels of success based on my goals at the time.
Well I've not trained since April 2009, due to taking voluntary redundancy and repatriating to the UK, and I've gained quite a belly! Now that things are getting settled it's time to bust that gut!

It's not a love thang; it's a necessary EVIL!!!!
I'm not wanting to be ripped, I'm aiming for a body fat percentage of around 13 - 14%, after all I'm not looking to compete or even make a living from it ust wanting to be able to stand out from my peers! Vanity need I say more!!! :o)
How I Stay Motivated:
Well my better half, god bless her, laughs at me when my belly gets tooooo rotund and starts to wobble!
After all "Vanity, vanity all is vanity!"
BB Accomplishments:
Just getting my @rse to lift weights and do cardio (especially the cardio bit) are the only accomplishments I'm interested in right now!

They say that a picture paints a thousand words well methinks there is room on that gut for quite a few more!! LOL! Still one has to start somewhere!

Goal (Long):
At this point of the game gaining muscle mass is not my priority!
As it happens I have plenty of jeans and suits that I can no longer wear, haven't been able to get into them since February, and therefore my goal is to get my @rse back into them without splitting them!
Other than that I weighed 221 lbs/24% body fat this weekend so I've set myself a goal of 210 lbs/20% body fat (a loss of 11 lbs of fat) by the 29th of November. If everything goes to plan I should lose more but losing 1 lb per week that's my worst case scenario.....
What's not to be said! Forget your 'young uns'; my inspiration comes from real people, living real lives who refuse to go out pushing a zimmer! OBF is one hell of an inspirational guy!
Now I have goals to work towards that will see me through to my sixties!! :D
Fair dues to you for putting your pics in your profile. I've made several abortive attempts to keep to a consistent programme and have once again started today. Glad to see somebody else is struggling, LOL.
