Background

When I Started: Aug 2008
HOW I STARTED:

after doing varsity soccer, varsity track, varsity cross country, + competitive drumline in high school (as well as U of I drumline in college), i wanted 2 get SHREDDED during college.

WHY I LOVE IT:

gives me a ton of energy during the day + im seeing a lot of results!!! itz also a great way 2 fellowship w/ure brothas + sistas!!!!! :D

PWO SUPPS = MOTIVATION???

mannn, pwo supps (like superpump + jack3d) is part of the main reason why ive been gettin' in those xtra 2 reps!!!  i hate cyclin' through them for 2-3 weeks!  but 4 sum reason, i maintain my energy level.  mayb itz becuz the ingredients from the supps r still in my system...mayb itz partly cuz workin' out is a MIND GAME.  itz all bout DESIRE, DEDICATION, DISCIPLINE, + DETERMINATION!!!  i feel lyke im alwayz improving wenever i go 2 the gym, but im never sastisfied.  i can relate this 2 my spiritual life.Â...

Doughboy818 Sup Joe! Thanks for getting back to me! Yeah man, I think I just need to eat MORE! I thought I was eating enough:( What about the fact that I workout late at night just before going to bed. I don't eat after my workout since its so late. I just drink Dark Matter right after my workout and casein with Modern BCAA just before bed. What's your opinion on that? Thanks again dude. AmbiAmbitious Naiice dood, Your on the right track! Powerlifting/Compound moves + Hypetrophy activates and leds you to the Optimum growth ranges... I been trying to decipher the Laynes Norton Routine... Its really confusing somedays (Day 1 & 2) after he does his power moves he does his hypertrophy 6-10 reps... then Day 4 and 5 he does reps of 8-12... Must be a trick to activate different muscle fibers to activate the nost growth? Apr 14, 2012 10:59pm
