Overall Goal: Got past my shoulder injury...still there, but not as bad. Been hitting the weights pretty hard..."bulking Season"...Jan will mark my time 2 start shredding up 4 the spring/summer.
It was just something that struck my attention....My idols were Bruce Lee and Arnold Schwarzengger...Both on total opposite sides of the spectrum when it comes to fitness, yet both were extremely fit, and intelligent in their ways of going about getting there. I was born a "twig", and knew that I didn't want to stay like that...I wanted to grow into that tree, that strong Oak that I saw when I looked at Arnold, when I watched Bruce's movies...That's what I wanted to be...I knew that sitting on my butt and not doing anything about it, wasn't going to get me there, so I started training.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel GOOD!!! I know it's good for me, and when people see me, and see me doing it, they then too want to try... I love it!
How I Stay Motivated:
Almost the same reason why I love doing it...Life. Got my lil bro doing it, and those that followed in my path when I use to train...All of that keeps me motivated...Plus, I like the way I fit into my clothes... :p
BB Accomplishments:
Just self confidence...proving to others that it can be done...without steroids! Everyone always think we have to do steroids to get big and/or whatever...I hate that closed mindedness!!! Ignorance!

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Again, depending on body part...Let's put it like this..4 the most part, everything "other than" legs, gets no more than 30sec or however long it takes 4 my partner 2 do him/her. Legs get roughly 2 minutes. Endurance...and promoting a shock 2 the muscle! Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
u know what...4 what they want and is trying 2 achieve...they all do. It's all about self. What makes u happy, is ideal. I don't lift 2 "look" like some1 else...IDOIT4ME!

As far as sets, I do 4, with pyramid rep style. Reps may vary...increasing weight as I go along. I go along with a set program for about a month or two, then switch it up... EVERYONES body is different in how it may react, but I found this to be most effective...
Naw dude, when the drunk driver hit me six weeks ago it sidelined me, but I am back in the gym. I guess it's like your shoulder injury. Now I need to gain some lean mass so when i do a show next year, I will come with it.
Just remember to take it easy when you get back at it! You don't want to make it worse! As for me, trying to become like you and shedding that fat! All I can do for now!
All is well Michael and sorry to hear about your injury. I gained 10 lbs and lost 10lbs due to not eating enough protein. I plan to step things up this August. I wish you well man....
