When I Started: 1992
How I Started: Training on and off for years since at school. would train for six months or so and take six months off at a time just lifting on a casual basis. Also time off for tearing my corocobrachialis in my armpit in 06 and the radius in my forearm in November 07.

Met up with Wilf Sylvester (old time bodybuilder) a few years ago and trained with him in his gym in Stratford before he died.

Wilf won Mr World and Universe titles several times from 1967 through to 1984.
Why I Love It: I just like feeling the grit of it and overcoming the resistance, then adding more resistance because I like feeling the grit of it.

Makes me feel good!I feel Bad if i don't.

...and I ain't done weights for 8 months. Until today 13th Jul 08.
How I Stay Motivated: Thanks to Wilf for motivation RIP

Also I got the skinniest legs in the world so need to bulk up.

i was immediately comfortable. I think I have the right head for this. but walking under the AC at work is weird, and learning to shave is slow

like I always say, those weights aren't going to lift themselves! try some odd stuff every third week anyway, like walking lunges with weights or 1/2 hour of situps in sets of 15 etc. thanks for the friends offer.
