How I Started:
Dabbled with it in the past at a friends house but never got serious. Inspired by on screen heros and the realisation that I'm not getting any younger!
Why I Love It:
It's a great release of frustration and anguish. It's better than taking someone out with a left hook because you don't get into trouble! It feels worthwhile because it hurts.
How I Stay Motivated:
I've just started so I'm looking for the answers to keep my motivation as time goes on.
This is the beginning of my journey after a booze and take-away fuelled life. I had let my body go since adolescence until the age of 32 years old. Here I weighed 176lbs of pure flab and I felt like shit.
Starting to drop fat once again, bit of a mystery but I'm happy. Strength also increasing so don't know why I had so little strength earlier. Good to know I'm keeping my mass while cutting because I've been worried about that. When I think I'm not making progress I just look at my first photo.

Goal (Long):
I used to be skinny, then I got fat. I don't want either anymore. My heros inlcude Jean Claude Van Damme, Arnie and Stallone because I grew up with their films. I don't have to get to their level of muscle to be content, but what they achieved has inspired me to make an improvement. I can't say how many inches or pounds of this or that I want because I don't know what it would look like. When I look in the mirror I'll know. A soccer player physique would be an immediate goal, but after that I want to grow a bit. I could start by losing a stone of blubber and I'm hoping to get to a point where I can finally do a proper bulk.
