Background

When I Started: Jul 2008
HOW I STARTED:

Gradual progression from walking to weight training/running. Inspiration and a kick in the ass from my best friend (DirtyRMartini).

WHY I LOVE IT:

The confidence I find in training is incredible. I feel physically strong and that translates to my mental state.

Can you say disappointing? I have been hesitant to admit this to everyone on Bodyspace, but after reading a popular competitor forum. I realized that what I've experienced since November is more common-place than I thought. This is Post-Competition Rebound. A lot of female competitors go through it. Lucky ones won't...some will only go through it once, others will after every contest. Obviously, experiences will vary with each individual. Some may not gain too much bodyfat and become depressed, while others, like me, experienced quite a bit of bodyfat gain and depression. Before Contest Day......

Please take a look and share with your friends! We are providing workout t-shirts and the designs are reversed so that they can be viewed in a mirror...especially in the gym while lifting. Yes, they do have a military theme. We LOVE our home country - the United States. Who best represents our fitness lifestyle (other than professionals) other than our own military?
