I lifted in high school and got pretty big but never toned. Let it all go, tried just dieting and getting skinny, always plumped back up, my body likes being 147lbs apparently no matter what I do. Wanting to burn fat, build muscle, and be strong, I want to do a pull up!
Why I Love It:
I love the way my brain feels when I am done. Keeps me sane in the winter. I like feeling strong.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't I hate not seeing results, months of working out with no progress drives me to eat brownies for breakfast
Still 147lbs depspite a vigorous work out plan with a personal trainer. Seems I should be gaining or loosing not staying the same. O can see small slight differences.

Most members on here do not want to compete as a bodybuilder. I agree that one should like what they see in the mirror since, it doesn't lie. Stick with healthy multiple meals enriched in protein and train hard. You will get there, like all of us.
