I started out with pushups on chairs with a loaded backpack in high school. I guess I got started because I wasn't interested in any of the sports offered at school, but had a lot of physical energy to work off, and was naturally drawn to weights. I haven't been all over the world, but I've been all over the weight chart.

I'd been lifting for a long time before I took this pic, but this was around the time I realized I could learn something from other people about it.
Both me and my goatee are a work in progress. Taken this morning.
Did some mean back work today. Fun stuff. I got a tip from a trainer yesterday that back is for moving your shoulder joints toward your back or your chest. So, I went nuts focusing on that movement in my normal routine. I felt it.
New years resolution: isometrics at every stoplight....
Tice, your goatee's got a big job ahead of it if it thinks it's going to be on par with your body. :) You are one heck of a massive man ... and put together well. You're looking good in the progress shots ... keep up the good work
