How I Started:
WHERE AM I?
Since I was a teen and through adulthood I have wanted a healthy and shaped body. I’ve been overweight most of my life and deceive myself believing I couldn’t sculpt mine. I’m 36 and now face high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high uric acid and find myself in a pre-diabetic stage. Since February 2009 I’ve gone through an ugly relationship break up (still today don’t know where the relationship is…). Through the years I have become very unselfconfident, kind of a loner and sunken in a depression.
Why I Love It:
I want to learn to love it!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Just planning & VISUALIZING the deep change in life has gotten me excited. To stay motivated I need to materialize all this desire!

DAY 30 OF 75 - BEFORE & AFTER 30 DAYS
Up loaded new pictures… Guess the main picture where a difference is noticeable is: BEFORE & AFTER 30 DAYS 2009-07-15 Side - 218 Lbs - Bodyfat 37.4%
I am confused... I dropped 9 Lbs but I went up 1% Bodyfat… Is this the way Keto nutrition works like?

In 75 days lose 9.4% Bodyfat – develop an enduring positive attitude, nutrition and training habits! Feel good mentally!!
Goal (Long):
WHERE I WANT TO BE!! I am TRANSFORMING myself inside out; achieving a mental change and modifying my overall attitude about life.
I am an attractive guy, intelligent & capable… and I – do have the time – to work out…
I’m working to a strong and muscular body, a body I can be proud and feel confident!!
In this life-style change journey I am making good friends who will support me and help me maintain the healthy everyday life and positive thinking and focus on the goals.
I know with full dedication and prayer I can reach my first short term goal in the next 75 days (Friday, August 28th, 2009)!
HARDEST SETBACK TO CONQUER? – IN ORDER OF DIFICULTY
1. Depression & laziness
2. Negative attitude
3. Perfectionism & time management
From the same heavy overweight starting point to the transformation I am working on for myself!! It strengths my faith that hard work, discipline, a great meal and workout plan bring results. Be conscious not to starve; nutrition is vital, 80-90% of success is on the diet!!
Right now (15-June-2009) I am on the very same starting-point as this guy once was. Before his transformation we are BIG alike and with similar body structure. For me he is a constant reminder to keep the dedication on eating right and train hard. It motivates me continue bodybuilding.com research and studying and to keep the faith I am moving forward into MY OWN TRANSFORMATION!!
Any wisdom and knowledge to help me? I look forward for your reply.
I have to produce the encouragement within me! ENDURANCE IS THE WAY!!I just need to take one day at a time. I do not put the weight overnight so the strong & lean body will not happen...
I want steadfastness in bodybuilding. I need to become knowledgeable and this weight training seems realistically doable for initiation. To familiarize with the gym I printed photos of the workout program. I’m following it for 75 days, and then I am planning to modify it to keep the body...
Thanks so much! I've really been tested these last few weeks, but I strive to stay strong and on course. I'll post my diet and workout strategy soon. Thanks for the kind words.
Good morning sir! Just wanted to let you know I put up some new pics. Hard work and perseverance will pay off. I'm living proof. Hang in there man. You'll get there.
You're doing a good job. I checked out your pics. Definitely seeing a difference. Keep up the good work, don't overthink it, and don't get in a hurry. This stuff takes times.
How's it going friend? If you dropped weight but gained body weight, it's one of three things. Either you calculated wrong, you need to tweak your diet a bit...add more protein, or you're doing more cardio than weight training. Try one then the other for at least 2 weeks. Don't try more than 1 thing at a time.
well physically you have a change ,after 30 days is good, just whait more time before make a final picture of your progress,if you look my progress stats you see its not regular , stay motivate is the key....
It's kind of hard to say, but if you are on an electronic machine, those are not always accurate, I'm losing weight n stuff myself and I can be at 18 percent and then the next day it says 20, so don't always believe the bf percentage, but don't necessarilly worry about it, the mirror needs to be the indicator as far as the lost in pounds.. So far based on your report, you are doing well, keep going and I'll await next week's report
Keto is kinda weird, I was on keto for the half of my cut. I did gain .7% on BF but went down. Give it a week or 2 and see if how your body responds with keto
hello my freind nice to hear from you.im not doing too bad but its a struggle somtimes as im sure you'll know
i am now keeping a food diary & a workout diary this way i no exactly what i am doing week by week you should try this if you arn't already, dont let it get you down use it as fuel to make you want to do even more.if you need any help just let me no i'd be happy to help.take care
