How I Started:
I've done it off and on for the last 20 years, but didn't get serious until 3 years ago!
Why I Love It:
When I started, I was so weak and always exhausted after a workout, now I feel better, am alot stronger, and finaly starting to look better.
How I Stay Motivated:
My oldest son started football two years ago, and my youngest starts this year. I want to be able to help them get stronger for their respective sports, but who takes a fat couch potato seriously (plus I want to be bigger than the other football and soccer dads!)

Goal (Long):
I work outside in the summer, and I would like to be able to get a tan like the other guys, ya know, the shirtless kind. Some guys (and girls) are comfortable being shirtless and flabby, but not me, not anymore! I'm not looking to compete on stage, but I want to be able to show up some of those 20 year olds, including my teenage son.
Back day! I enjoy today, more than other parts. I don't go to a gym, so for a while everything I did was free weight. A friend that I helped move gave me his old Weider 9450 home gym. I've been able to do lat pulldowns for the last couple of months and they're finally starting to show. I...

This is SC checking in with all the hardcore. This is off season for most so let's focus on bieng safe but making those much needed gains. Keep us all up to date with upcoming contests and whatever (PRs) you make. Knowing this keeps us all motivated to do better. Let's give it hell SC!!!!!
Everything's great, brother. I'm just spending more time actually training and not so much talking about it. I'm hoping to get to the point that training for five hours daily isn't going to kill me. LOL
