How I Started:
My Dad used to bring me to the gym when I was younger and I always felt so good after. First semester of first year I was on the rowing team but gained a lot of weight too (somehow) at the same time. So second semester I decided to start hitting the gym hard. It's now my favorite hobby.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel incredible. As a student, it serves as an awesome break from my studies and keeps me focused throughout the rest of the day. It gives me better sleeps, raises my energy levels, and makes me feel good about my body. Not to mention the fact that I'm a competitive and determined person by nature, and the sport of bodybuilding definitely serves as an outlet for that.
How I Stay Motivated:
I find getting into magazines and articles on the web really keeps me in the game. Most of all, however, is the positive feedback I get from people.

I WILL not only get back to my strength and size before mono, I will surpass it.
Goal (Long):
Mono took it's toll on my body from June until September. Now I'm going to pack on huge amounts of muscle and make up for it. My caloric intake is extremely high - near 4000 calories a day. I'm trying to also not work out more than 4 times per week a) to give my body ample time to recover and b) because last year I got sick way too much and part of it was because I put too much stress on my body.

I want to GAIN 24 lb
