I've been lifting weights off/on since high school... but just kinda playin around. But I got serious about it just about a year and a half ago.
Why I Love It:
I love workin out cuz it gives me energy, and helps improve my endurance, and outlook for everyday life. I also really enjoy helping others get/stay motivated to acheive their own personal goals. It's awesome to see a life changed forever for the better!
How I Stay Motivated:
Fitness is my career now, I'm surrounded by it 24/7. It helps to surround yourself with other motivated people that are likeminded.
BB Accomplishments:
none... I weigh 163 right now @ 5ft 8in tall, & 8%. My goal is to put on a solid 30 lbs. And get to/stay @ round about 4-5%BF. I'm not really lookin to compete, but ya never know...

I'm motivated to stick to my convictions about natural body building by the success that he's had, especially in spite of the various injuries that he's worked through.
External Rotation of the Glenohumeral joint... It's my fav cuz it keeps my shoulder girdle strong enough to avoid rotator injury. I do a pretty wide variety of exercises on shoulder days. I try to hit my upper traps, anterior, posterior, and medial deltoids w/ @ least 2 different exercise movements each. But I do try to focus on the posterior delts a bit more, like most people, my anterior delts/chest were more developed than my middle back/posterior delts. And that is the most common cause of posture abnormalities/shoulder injuries (ie. bursitus, rotator tares, or impingement/entrapment.)External Rotation of the Glenohumeral joint... Close Grip Latt Pull-downs coupled w/ weighted, wide grip pull-ups.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
It helps to be in good shape when you're encouraging others to reach their own fitness goals.
I've tried everything I can think of to make my chest grow! I'm gettin frustrated, I've tried the classic high weight low rep fast twitch growth program blah blah blah, lotsa variations, I've done drop sets/burn outs from 135 @ 35 reps up to 205 @ 4 reps, and back down to 135 to failure on...
And calories is what it takes to add that mass. But better to stay lean and defined than take in a lot of empty calories (as you know). I'm doing okay myself - mostly maintaining but at least not going back!
Just curious on how you are doing towards your goal of gaining 30 solid pounds. I figure you should be up to over 170 or so by now. Drop me a note when you have a chance.
Great progress Brian you are starting to put on quality muscle. Keep it up. I will be adding a daily verse of encouragment when I check for prayer requests.

Not so much time-wise as motivation and plain old "stick to it" wise! But, I've been meaning to give HIIT a try and maybe now is the time. Thanks for the idea!
