During my last relationship in 2006, I had gained over 25 pounds. When I left, I was not comfortable with the shape of my body and decided that it wasn't going to fix itself, so I started working out.
Why I Love It:
I love it because it makes me feel good about myself. I like knowing that I do what it takes to stay in shape and take care of my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing results helps me stay motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost 30 pounds and slimmed down considerably.
Somewhat. I wanted a better shot of the back. By this time, my friend who took the earlier pics left and I had to set my timer on the camera and had it at a lower angle..hence why I'm kneeling on the floor.
I'm going to compete! In both powerlifting and figure competition!
Goal (Long):
My first competition will be in March of 2009. 100% Raw Federation Powerlifting. I WILL take the record for bench for women in my weight class.
My second competition will be in May of 2009. Heartland Classic. I WILL place in that competition!
I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Weight Goal:
Bodyfat Goal:
10%
Upcoming Contest:
100% Raw Federation Powerlifting

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
It was minor - thank god. I was re-racking 30 lb dumbbells and one slipped over the rack and smashed the middle finger on my left hand. I thought I broke the knuckle. There was a small hole torn in the knuckle and it turned black and blue, but I kept ice on it and took some ibuprofen for the swelling and pain and I didn't miss a beat.It was minor - thank god. I'm nearly six weeks out from the day I had surgery. I was supposed to be able to return to the powerlifting routine I had gotten six weeks into before I had my gallbladder attack.
I have decided to utilize my tax return and sign up with Max Muscle in order to start training for the...
