Background

When I Started: May 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I play sports very intensely all through my years of schooling. At a track meet I injured my knees pushing myself to hard in the heat. I slipped into the life of partying and the wrong crowd. I went from running a mile in 5:30 minutes flat my freshmen year, to not being able to run up two flights of stairs without catching my breath. Two packs of menthols a day and some Black and milds on the side was killing me. I had trouble at school, with friends, and family, lost relationships, even served some jail times, and time in court. So one day, never having watched UFC or any combat sport other than boxing, I stepped into an MMA Octagon and got my ass kicked in front of all the citizens of my home town and county. I was hooked . Ever since, I started lifting weights, running six miles a day, eating right, even tried going to church. I made things right with my family, graduated senior year with honors, the women in my life started to look much better. I weighed 155 lbls. at the height of 6' flat at the age of 18. It was depressing, now at 23, I weigh 170 lbls. and stand at 6'2'' my girlfriend of two years and I have a son now and I have owned a championship belt in MMA and attempted for two more. I'm hooked as an adrenaline junkie, now I'm looking to improve myself, my life, and my career.
