How I Started:
I weighed 150 lbs. at the beginning of the summer 2007. I weighed in at 115 pounds when I won my first figure competition in April, 2008. Now as of April 2009 I'm back up to 145 lbs, but more muscle than before. I need to lose the weight to do my first bodybuilding competition in August, 2009. I need to learn posing, but at least I don't have to wear heels and I get to have more fun!
Why I Love It:
Many times I go to the gym feeling down because of stress or negative attitude. I leave with a feeling of accomplishment, confidence and like I've turned a new page in my book, that I am ready to take on the world.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that my fitness and muscle is the fountain of youth. Knowing that the older I get the better I will look and feel if I stay on the track I'm on. I post pictures of hot women on my fridge. I keep bodybuilding magazines all over my house. You'd walk into my house thinking I'm a dude, especially with a a kitchen full of supplements.
BB Accomplishments:
Bodyfat % from 25% to 12% first, my mental strength and always sticking to my diet. Mental strength is a measure of discipline, and discipline is necessary for bodybuilding. My confidence is a representation not of how I look but of my abilities. I may be cocky but I have my justification for it.
I lost alot of muscle dieting for competition and feel weak now. I want to get SRONGER because that is the only way to know your muscles are growing. Every time I lift I want to be able to do more weight and more reps. If I can't then I know I didn't rest long enough or didn't eat enough. I'm going to keep my eating consistent so I can always have the most energy for the workouts.
I want to stop worrying about my weight because I know I'm going to put some more on. I need to keep my eyes on the bigger picture and realize that when the weight comes back off I will look 10X better because I'll have more shape from muscle development.
Now that I've won my figure competition and am Ms. Figure Tucson 2008, I'd like to figure out a good mass gaining diet and workout plan for developing my legs and abs. I want to make sure I don't over train myself because I think this is what was preventing muscle growth before.
I don't currently have a trainer and am open to any advice.

lol yah but ur tiny and toned!! i am small but not toned at all! thats what im workin on! I have read on ur body blogs ur body doesn't like carbs..thats exactly like me..i blow up completley..i was diagnosed with ciliac disease..when u prep for a show do u just eat veggies and protien to lean down so much? id love to hear what u eat because it seems we both have the carb problem
