What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Boxing. It keeps my attention a lot longer then running on a treadmill.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
Cardio definitely takes a backseat to lifting in my case. If I don't get to cardio I tend to not kick myself and sorta just roll with it. I run 4 mornings a week and box after lifting twice a week. Since I'm cutting right now and my energy is low I just run at a steady-state instead of HIIT.Cardio definitely takes a backseat to lifting in my case. I now have one of the two injuries I have always dreaded-- a severe groin pull (the other being a torn rotator cuff). I was going for my 5RM on the Smith-Machine B. Press last Monday and must have either let my lower back come off the bench or dug my heels into the ground at the wrong...
yeh. even WSC here will try to make you take NASM. it's weird tho cause ISSA is accepted by US Dept of Ed. and that says a lot to me. And ISSA seems to be geared more towards strength training.
did you have any problems getting your training position? i know certain places require certain certificaitions. im wondering where issa stacks up against the rest.
Thanks so much!
I lost 32 pounds, and 4 inches off the waist...and although not yet lean, I am lifting close to the same weight I was lifting when I was 27. I have not reached my goals YET! Thanks for your help and encouragement.

yeh man. i want to. just exploring my options in terms of where. hopefully somewhere close to work or the crib. im pissed because i know wherever i train i will get free membership and i just renewed two memberships at beginning of the year.LOL.
I HEAR U!I DON'T LIKE TAKING TIME OFF EITHER.I FEEL LIKE I'M CHEATING MYSELF OR SOMETHING BUT THEN I KNOW THAT'S ALL MENTAL! SOMETIMES U GOTTA TAKE A STEP BACK IN ORDER TO TAKE TWO FORWARD IN THE LONG HAUL!ANYWAY HOPE THIS HELPS-GOOD LUCK.
As for the help thank you mate, i hope you dont mind me adding you to my friends list. I find encouragment from mates is very important along with the hard work that one puts into forming them body to their maximum results such as you have attained, thank you much. Again stay fit and keep on staying strong!!
i hear ya man. you are not competing, so ne need to go thru unnecessary torture (that im beginning in two weeks). Im not looking forward to it at ll. Already thought about passing on it. Between the time and the expenses, im just trying to make it all work.
well, y ou will notice a big diff when the carbs start go away from diet. but since you are not actually competing, reduced them to lowest level of tolerance possible. just stick to a very strict diet and amp up the cardio. i dont do cardio until i start training for contest, that way my body is thrown off by doing it. and usually the lbs start falling off for me. do some interval training. what are you eating? cause dieting is a big factor in this.
my friends have a nickname for me. they call me Trey #1 and Trey#2 (cutting)....in fact eysterday in the gym one of my buddies asked which trey was present. I told him still #1 for three more weeks.
welcome to the world fo cutting. thats why bodybuilding aint easy. the first time i started carb cutting it was terrible. my brain was mush. lol. i had to write everything down or i would forget to do stuff. not good for work!!! lol. if you are not competing, i would say just cut enough and do more cardio and lower overall calorie intake. are you just trying to achieve a certain look?
