Overall Goal: My motto every time I hit the gym is "Rip Something!" My next goal is 405lbs (+) (4 plates) on bench. Stay consistent, ripped and motivated.
Fit Status:
Abs are back on track! Making Gains all around. Feeling good. Just wish I could get these stupid torn ligaments taken care of (L ankle)

When I Started:
Jan, 1992
How I Started:
First off-I know I'm white...LOOK AT THE COLOR OF MY HAIR! I mainly just burn...so "I choose life over skin cancer" is what I say quite a bit. Plus I'd rather be lifting than lying around "working on my tan." I've always been into sports. I just naturally was drawn to lifting weights. I started out with just some dumbbells, pushup bars, and a ghetto barbell, working out on my back patio at the age of 13 in Orange Park, FL. It's been a staple in my life ever since. In middle and high school I would go to the YMCA with my friends (Phil and Brian) and workout after school, but most of the time I went solo.
Why I Love It:
Gets out agression, helps me focus, alleviates stress, self-condfidence, escape from reality.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just do: when I see my body react positively to the hard work I'm putting in, it really boosts my motivation. My son also likes to stay on me about it. He likes his daddy to have big muscles and with a 6-pack!
BB Accomplishments:
Benching over 300lbs (accomlished)...also seeing my six-pack finally taking shape (getting there)...still in the works.

I ALWAYS DO CARDIO FIRST (at least 20-30min of running/stairs/and/or bike)!!! I know it's unconventional, but if I don't do it before I lift weights I will flake out on it. I WANT to lift weights, so they are my reward for doing boring old cardio. I also do ABS EVERY workout!!! I have to...
Hey Joe! That's awesome! I've been making weight gains too over the past month or so. I'm now weigh 172 lbs. at 8% bodyfat. I'm looking at possibly competing near the end of this year. The avatar picture I have was taken about a month ago. That's awesome that you're putting up so much weight on bench. Stick with it and maintain good form. You'll have to update your profile picture after a while. This'll be the 'small' you. Peace, my friend!
